This story took place in Poland (2010) Bulgaria, when a man started to walk again after a hard therapy that involved transplanting cell from his nasal cavity into his spinal cord. His name is Darek Fidyka, and was paralysed after being stabbed repeatedly in the back with a knife during a robbery, he was submitted to different treatments where the doctors used OECs (Oldfactory Enshealting Cells), Specialist cells that form part of the sense of smell.
Before the treatment, he had been paralysed almost two years and he didn’t show signs of recovery, in spite of many months of intensive physiotherapy, two years after the treatment, he started walking outside the rehabilitation centre using a frame.
This story is important because the advantage of treatments and technology can be safe. This process of regeneration was made possible by (OECs), which provide a pathway for the fibres to grow back.
Gabriela Nueling Tests show Spanish nurse´s aide free of Ebola Teresa Romero is a Spanish nurse in a hospital in Spain. The doctors announced after taking another test on her at the Carlos III Hospital in Madrid. Her lungs have been badly affected so she will have to remain at the hospital for an indefinite period. Teresa Romero has been under care since October 6 and after 16 days she is free of virus. She became the first person to contract Ebola outside Africa. According to the World Health Organization, the virus is very dangerous and can cause death, also is spreading rapidly through Africa, so they expected that by December there will be ten thousand cases a week in that continent.
Oscar Pistorius sentenced to 5 years in prison, The New York Times
This article is about the end of Oscar Pistorius’ trial, the African Paralympic athlete. After a trial opened in last March and ran for 8 months, Oscar Pistorius was sentenced to 5 years in prison for killing his girlfriend. This tragic event occurred in the night of the 14th of February 2013, in their house in Pretoria, in South-Africa. As a matter of fact, the sentence pronounced is more lenient that we can think. Indeed, the law under which Mr. Pistorius was sentenced called for him to serve only one-sixth of the prison term (10 months) before he can be placed under house arrest. He can also apply for parole after serving half the sentence. Whereas most of people find the sentence unfair and too lenient, Ms. Steenkamp’s relatives surprisingly said they were satisfied with the sentence (although the National Prosecuting Authority had not yet decided whether to appeal). As for Mr. Pistorius’s family members, they said they accept the judgment and they did not plan to appeal.
Topic of Article : Hong Kong Protest Title of Article : Hong Kong officials meet student protesters for talks. Source : BBC
This article is based on Hong Kong Protest called ‘Umbrella Revolution’. Hong Kong officials and the student protesters met with each other to talk about their needs. The Hong Kong protest started because of the election in 2017. The government announced that China will nominate several candidates for Chief Executive and citizens will be able to choose only among them. It seems to be opposed to democracy so students in Hong Kong started to have a movement. During the movement, many people were hurt and they started to talk to each other. So this article is about the negotiation between them on October 21. During the talks, students reiterated their demand for an unrestricted choice of candidates in the election but both Hong Kong and Beijing officials have said that this is impossible. It means that the talks focused on the students’ demands that want Hong Kong leadership elections to be more democratic, but it was rejected. Little was agreed at the meeting in the end. Interestingly, this protest shows the opposition between students and civil servants, youth and middle age, idealism and pragmatism. The students were more passionate, appealing to the public with their arguments about freedom and democracy. On the other hand, officials tend to dwell more on legalities. Chief Executive CY Leung said the protesters’ demands would result in populist policies. But he also argued that the situation which candidates would be screened by a broadly representative nominating committee before they go to an open election made Beijing’s position better. I think this event is important because it’s a problem about democracy. China is trying to rule Hong Kong in a roundabout way and many people are opposed to that. It’s not the 19th century. We need democracy and many people are getting hurt. Only students and youth are going out to the movement and the elderly want to be in a stable condition. When I see the Hong Kong event, I can recall many protests for democracy in Korea a few decades ago. It’s almost same. I think this kind of problem should not be happening. Hong Kong should have right to choose people who they want as a representative.

Title: The Next President Is in Jail (Venezuela) Topic: politics
The main idea is about Leopoldo Lopez, an important politician of the government opposition who is in jail because the government claims he is the responsible for the violent protests in Venezuela, but that is not truth.
Student protests have been underway since February. Students were protesting for a better future, they were tired of the insecurity and the most important thing is that the government is leading the country to chaos.
It's difficult to find medicine or food just because of the terrible organization that the Venezuelan government has and Leopoldo who had the chance to make a difference for the country. He ended up in jail because the government is accusing him of things that he didn't do just because he is the strongest leader the opposition has.
